I really like this script and the main character.

I understand what the people are saying. But, later on he seems to have got the accents down. It’s like he was getting use to using it… or something.

Well I like the way Russell Gold accents Jim Nolan. Really hope we hear more from Tracy Hall, and Tracy Hall, in fact I would not at all mind a girls point of view epesode at some point. Great writing as always Mike.

I liked the story very much but was thrown off by Mr. Gold’s accent too. Good story line with a nice twist at the end.
Looking forward to more of Mike Murphy’s stories hopefully.

Having spent a lot of time in Boston myself, I saw a huge variety of accents from some like Jim’s which are extremely strong, to some you barely notice to others that sound almost Californian. It didn’t bother me at all.

Great story and great voice actors. Wonderfully done, I really enjoyed lsitening to it.

As for Russell Gold’s accent, I really do like it and I liked it on every play I heard it, however, here it seemed strange when mother and son had such different accents. I believe it would be great if these two actors tried to sound more similar. Though it’s not too big problem.

Once again, great show, I’ll be waiting for more

I’m sorry but I disagree, there are many of types of people in Boston, some speak Japanese, Polish, Hungarian, Russian and so on, each have their own strong accent. I think the person that played Jim Nolan did a great job. Even if he did have a different accent that you may have been use too, but you still did listen to the whole show. Our casting calls are open to the public if you ever wish to apply. Everyone did a great job. Cap

Solid story with an interesting series premise.

Why does Nolan have an accent while no other actors have any? Having lived in New England my entire life, I’ve never heard one like his! His character would be more believable if it were toned down A LOT
or eliminated all together. It’s distracting to the listener!

Great start for a series opener! Kudos to
all concerned!

I thought the story was great and the music fitted into the story line wonderfully. The actors were good but Russell Gold’s accent needs some work.
